Very Into vol.15
I love museums!
Hello!
It’s still winter in most of the country but it’s feeling very spring in Southern California this week. Trying to lean into the optimism, renewal and growth feelings that spring brings. I bought a new raised bed for my garden, I’m going to hang art over the dining table and my daughter got her first haircut this past weekend (she is almost five and it was merely a trim but we celebrated nonetheless!) These are the other things keeping me going this week!
Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations
Have you ever discovered that your dream museum exhibit already existed over a decade ago and you didn’t know about it and now you can never visit? That little gut punch happened to me a few weeks ago when I found that The Met’s Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibit was a celebration of my two favorite fashion designers, Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. The show, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, feels comically named considering it is impossible for me to see. However, I did discover a loophole and that is the exhibition catalogue available on eBay. The book is currently en route to me and I’m looking forward to reading. In the meantime, I borrowed this book from the library for my daughter myself.

Speaking of my daughter, I will probably buy anything with a dove on it so imagine my delight to see this insane crochet appliqué denim set by Sea. I won’t actually be purchasing (too boho, too expensive for a joke purchase, etc) but I pray I meet someone wearing this whole look one day because I still love it!

Vintage baseball caps
I used to hate baseball caps, I thought I looked too much like Mike Myers in Wayne’s World. I still might, please don’t tell me! Anyways, probably because they are everywhere these days, I’ve come around and now my cap collection rivals my husbands. I love a deep dive on eBay, finding treasures that resonate or buying them from some of my favorite places around LA (Belle’s, I love you, I will buy all your merch eventually) Here’s a few new vintage faves, a necessary accessory for spring (and always)!

Moodboard!
Hang in there y’all!
